Our story
Our story began with our father, founder of Nedform B.V. We, Roel, Rutger and Rob Collaris, are his sons and wanted to bring his passion and knowledge to the online world. That's how Silicones and More came about: a place for everyone who wants to make something.

Frequently asked questions
Which silicone do I need for my mould?
That depends on what you pour into the mould, how detailed the original is and how often you use the mould. For most hobby and art moulds you work with two-component casting silicone (RTV-2) from Shore A 10 to 30. Use the silicone selection guide or ask your question to our material specialists.
What is the difference between condensation and platinum silicone?
Condensation silicones are cheaper per kilo and less sensitive to contamination, but shrink slightly and don't last as long. Platinum or addition silicones hardly shrink, are more accurate and come in food-safe grades, but won't cure in contact with sulphur, amines and some 3D-printing resins, among others. When in doubt, do a small test first.
Are your silicones food-safe?
Not all silicones are suitable for contact with food. For food contact, choose a product from culinary and food-safe silicones. The product page states which conformity applies and whether the mould needs post-baking after curing.
Can I order on invoice as a business?
Yes. Apply for a business account; we review your application within 3 working days. After that you order while logged in and pay on invoice, with payment terms of 14 days after delivery. EU businesses outside the Netherlands with a valid VAT number order with VAT reverse-charged.
How quickly will my order be delivered?
Orders placed and paid on working days are usually shipped the same day. In the Netherlands your parcel usually arrives within 1 working day, in Belgium and Germany typically within 1 to 2 working days. See shipping and delivery times for more information.
Can I return or collect my order?
You have 30 days to return after receipt; the conditions are in our return policy. Collection is possible by appointment at our premises in Heerlen (Koperslager 4). Please contact us to arrange it.
