Caprylyl Methicone
Caprylyl methicone is a synthetic silicone polymer mainly used in cosmetics. It is a clear, colorless liquid with low viscosity and volatile nature. It has excellent spreadability and gives a light, silky and smooth feeling on the skin.

Main application
Caprylyl methicone is primarily used in skin and hair care products. It helps hydrate the skin and provides a permeable barrier that helps prevent moisture loss. It is used in products such as:
Skin care products : moisturizers, anti-aging creams, face masks, hand creams, etc.
Hair care products : hair serum, shampoos, conditioners, etc.
It is compatible with other silicones and natural vegetable oils, making it ideal for forming products with a non-greasy and non-clumpy texture
