Product description

Clayrac Aluminosilicate Sand and Flour

  • Increased heat resistance
  • Robust and resilient
  • Easy knockout
  • Increased strength compared to Fused Silica systems

Clayrac is a versatile clay material specifically designed for the production of highly refractory and creep resistant ceramic moulds, making it ideal for the ceramic shell method in art casting. It offers reliable particle size distribution and mineralogy, ensuring accurate and consistent results. Clayrac is suitable for both alcohol and water based processes and is valued for its dimensional accuracy and high refractoriness.

By offering different sizes of sand grain/sanding, the scale can be built up more efficiently.

Clayrac is offered in grain sizes 0.1-0.3mm and 0.2-0.5mm and 0.5-10mm

To convert this size to mesh you can simply use this table:
