With a dosage of 2%, T 40 provides a pot life of approximately 30–50 minutes and a demolding time of 3–4 hours at 23°C \/ 50% RH — significantly faster than the T 37 catalyst. The viscosity is only 2 mPa·s, allowing the catalyst to mix homogeneously with the silicone base effortlessly.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eT 40 can also be combined with Catalyst T 47 for even faster curing (blend ratio T 40:T 47 = 95:5 gives a pot life of ~20–40 min, demolding time ~4–6 hours).
