Acid Yellow, Dry indicator for the ceramic bowl
Acid Yellow is a dye that is often used as a drying indicator in the ceramic shell method. This dye changes color as the slurry dries, helping to monitor the drying process and determine when the next layer can be applied. This is especially useful in the lost wax method, where multiple layers of slurry and sand are applied to form a strong, heat-resistant shell.
The dye allows you to visually see when the slurry is completely dry, which is essential for achieving an even and consistent shell. This makes the process more efficient and reduces the chance of errors.
Usage
Typically, 100 ml dryness indicator is enough for 25 liters of adbond binder or 50 liters of slurry
