🏭 Wacker Elastosil RT Series

RT 620 (Shore A 17) - Food-safe (FDA-compliant, BfR), ultra-soft for fine details and curved surfaces. Low viscosity, fast curing.

RT 623 (Shore A 31) - Standard pad printing, very good flowability, high reactivity for rapid release. High tear strength, long-term stability.

RT 629 (Shore A 31) - Antistatic for electronic components. Fast static dissipation, turquoise color. Processing time 40 minutes, curing time 3 hours.

🔬 CHT SilSo Print Series

SilSo Print 21006 (Shore A 12) - Antistatic, very soft for the finest details. Mixing ratio 1:1 (simple). Platinum addition, minimal shrinkage. Ideal for electronic components.

SilSo Print 21001 (Shore A 30) - Two-component platinum-addition silicone elastomer for professional pad printing applications. Reliable performance.

SilSo Print 21009 (Shore A 6) - Antistatic, extra soft for ultra-fine details. Mixing ratio 1:1 (simple). Platinum addition, minimal shrinkage (<0.1%). Hot pink color. Ideal for delicate surfaces and the finest printing.

SilSo Print 21004 (Shore A 40) - Antistatic printing pads with high hardness. Castable, addition-cured. Excellent wear resistance for high-volume production.

Wacker: Mixing ratio 9:1 or 10:1, Shore A 17-31, food-safe options (RT 620), antistatic (RT 629), FDA-compliant.

CHT: Mixing ratio 1:1 (simpler), Shore A 12-40 (broader), platinum addition, antistatic (21006 and 21004), wide hardness range.

🎯 Choice guide

Food packaging: Wacker RT 620 (FDA-compliant, Shore A 17)
Electronic components: Wacker RT 629 or CHT 21006/21004 (antistatic)
Very fine details: CHT SilSo Print 21006 (Shore A 12, 1:1 mix)
Standard pad printing: Wacker RT 623 or CHT 21001
High volume: CHT SilSo Print 21004 (Shore A 40, abrasion resistance)

📋 Processing guidelines

⚠️Important: Only process components A and B with the same lot number together!

Surface: Clean and free of inhibitors (sulphur, plasticisers, urethanes, organometallics).
Mixing: Mix thoroughly in the recommended ratio. A mechanical mixer is recommended.
Bleeding: Vacuum 30-50 mbar, 5-10 minutes.
Curing: Room temperature 20-25°C, can be accelerated by heat.
Shore adjustment: Add silicone oil (5-30%) for lower hardness.
