You can easily fill a mold yourself or cast slush or paint brushes with this casting wax and deliver the wax model to a foundry. This wax is of course suitable for the "lost wax method".
Our casting wax is specially designed as a wax with very little shrinkage, perfect acquisition of detail and shape retention during demoulding. The wax is intended for casting or slush casting. This wax is also thin enough to brush with and contains enough density to use as a backup wax afterwards. The wax is sturdy and does not sag in the summer. Optionally, you can edit the cast model using tools. The wax is 100% fireable/meltable for the bronze caster.
- Little shrinkage

Technical data
Melting point: 76°C
Ideal processing temperature: 70-76°C
Color: Green
Ash content after combustion: <0.006%
Processing
Slush casting: The wax is melted at a temperature of 76ºC and poured into an open mould. After a short period of solidification, the “still liquid” wax is poured out, leaving a thin shell of wax. Repeat this process a number of times to achieve the desired thickness.
Brushing: The wax is brushed into the mold at melting temperature. Then the same wax is poured into the mold as backup via slush casting at around the same temperature.
Special instructions
Prevent at all times that the wax is heated to above 100ºC. If this happens, this can have a lasting influence on the properties of the wax.
Shelf life
At least 5 years.
Safety requirements
Avoid skin contact with the molten (liquid) form of this wax and avoid inhalation of gases/fumes.
