    Process

    ELASTOSIL® N2010 shows good primerless adhesion to many substrates. We recommend carrying out preliminary tests to optimize conditions for the specific application.

    ELASTOSIL® N2010 is a ready-to-use, acid and solvent free, non-corrosive RTV-1 (room temperature vulcanization,
    1-component) silicone rubber suitable for many applications. Good adhesion to plastics and metals in combination with elasticity and durability open up a wide range of possible applications.
    The consistency of the uncured material allows dipping, spraying and dispensing processing. ELASTOSIL® N2010 shows excellent resistance to weathering, aging, moisture and UV light. The vulcanized silicone rubber remains permanently elastic over a wide temperature range from -50°C to +180°C (-58 to +356°F).
    If the removal of silicone rubber from machinery or dispensing equipment is required, turpentine is recommended as a solvent. However, cleaning must take place before the rubber has fully cured.

    Packaging and storage


    Stored unopened in a dark place between 5 and 25 °C, the product has a shelf life of at least 1 year.

    What is the delivery time of my order?

    Orders placed and paid for on weekdays before 4:00 PM are usually shipped the same day. Orders placed after 4:00 PM or on weekends are processed the next business day.
