    SilSo Lite 21030 is a two-component, platinum-cure, self-blowing silicone foam developed for machine dispensing applications. This lightweight material combines excellent flow properties with thermal protection and electrical insulation, specifically designed for potting EV battery modules, electronics, and complex components where weight reduction and environmental protection are crucial.

    Technical Features

    SilSo Lite 21030 is supplied as a two-component system designed for volume dispensing via a static mixer. Part A contains the platinum catalyst, Part B the hydride component. After mixing, simultaneous blowing and gelation reactions create a controlled foam structure with hydrogen gas generation. Ideal dispensing temperature: 20-30°C. The material expands 2-3 times its nominal volume. Gel time is approximately 120 seconds at 23°C, depending on dispensing conditions. For optimal performance, use components A and B from the same lot number. Machine dispensing is recommended due to the fast gel time.
