    Size chart

This aluminum powder is made entirely of aluminum. Its fine composition makes it suitable for mixing into paints, lacquers, casting resins, and plasters, for example. Afterwards, you can sand it down and apply a patina.

A metal powder can be used to make an object heavier, or to give an object a certain appearance.

Please note: Aluminum powder can unfortunately also be used for illegal purposes. This powder falls under Schedule 2. This means we are required to report its sale. The government will, of course, handle this information with the necessary care.

    Processing

When processing, pay attention to the weight of the metal powder. Metal will often sink to the bottom.
When a high amount of metal powder is added to casting resins or plasters, the end result will become more brittle.

    Processing in acrylic resin:

Mix the A and B components of the acrylic resin. Add the same weight of metal powder as the total weight of the acrylic resin mixture. For example, 1.5 kg of prepared acrylic resin with 1.5 kg of metal powder.

Accelerate the rust process : This can be done with hydrochloric acid or ammonia. (Consider your safety.)
This process can be stopped by rinsing with water or soda.
To maintain the effect, you can apply a sealer.
By not applying sealer, the rusting process will continue naturally.

Applying patina: There are many techniques for applying patinas. These often involve the use of acids. Please be mindful of your own safety and that of those around you, especially with regard to inhalation and skin contact. If you are unfamiliar with the safety and handling of these various substances, we advise against patination.
