Premium RTV-1 Silicone Adhesive for Professional Electronics and Industrial Applications

Wacker ELASTOSIL® E41 Transparent is a high-quality, self-leveling 1-component RTV-1 solvent-based silicone adhesive with excellent mechanical properties and superior adhesion – also on already cured silicone rubbers. This professional product combines high tear strength (11.5 N/mm), high elongation at break (350%), temperature resistance up to 200°C, and a transparent finish with easy processing without mixing. Ideal for electronics, lighting, FIPG seals, and silicone-coated textiles.

Processing Instructions:

Clean, degrease, and allow the substrate to evaporate
Apply E41 directly – no mixing required
Curing starts upon contact with atmospheric humidity; higher humidity accelerates the process
Heat curing only for thin layers (<0.5 mm); avoid >80°C during curing (risk of blistering)
Remove uncured material with white spirit; remove cured material mechanically
