    ELASTOSIL® FX platinum-curing silicone rubbers are used to create realistic skin effects for film, television, and theater, for example.
    Use the range of base rubbers, gels, and additives to achieve stunning results for: FX makeup / lifecasting, masks, body parts/prosthetic effects, wounds, and scars.

    ELASTOSIL® FX 10, FX 20, FX 28, and FX 30 Gel can be used for:

    The material with a higher shore hardness ELASTOSIL® FX 28 is mainly used for:

    • Body parts
    • Decorative prototypes
    • Production molds

    Available additives
    The ELASTOSIL® FX rubbers can be combined with the following additives:
    • FX Slow – extends the processing time
    • FX Fast – shortens the processing time
    • FX Thixo A (formerly FX Thixo) – makes the material thixotropic (non-flowing)

    Shelf life
    ELASTOSIL® FX20 A/B is best stored between 5 °C and 30 °C in the tightly closed original packaging. The shelf life of each batch is indicated on the product label. Storage beyond the date stated on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case, however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.

    Safety information
    Components A and B of the addition-curing class ELASTOSIL® FX20 A/B contain only ingredients that have proven to be non-toxic or aggressive for many years. Special precautions for handling are therefore not required, i.e., only the general regulations for industrial hygiene apply.     What is the delivery time of my order?

    Orders placed and paid for on business days will be shipped on the same day in most cases. Orders received on weekends will be processed on the next business day.
