The coming days, very high temperatures are expected in the Netherlands and Belgium. At Siliconesandmore, the safety and well‑being of our employees always come first. Therefore, we follow the official heat protocol of KNMI/KMI and adjust our operations whenever conditions require it.

Due to these measures, order processing and handling may take slightly longer than usual. We do everything we can to keep any delays to a minimum. At this moment, we do not expect major impact on parcel delivery, but internal processing may take a bit more time due to the adjusted work pace.

At our facilities, we provide extra drinking water, ventilation and cooling, and we encourage employees to adjust their work pace and take sufficient breaks. These steps are essential to ensure safe and responsible working conditions during extreme heat.
