Want to make your own terrazzo tealight holder? With the DIY Box – Terrazzo Tealight Holder FIAM Ø 6.5 cm you can easily cast stylish holders with a genuine terrazzo look at home. The set contains everything a beginner needs and lets you colour freely with five pigments. (Looking for a creative kit for adults or inspiration for DIY ideas for adults? How to make a tealight holder (step by step)
- Prepare – cover your work surface, have scales and water ready (baking paper included).
- Mix – mix the A1 base material according to the instructions; add pigment until the colour is right.
- Terrazzo chips (optional) – make a thin coloured sheet, let it cure and break it into pieces.
- Cast – pour the (coloured) mix and chips into the reusable mould; tap gently to release air.
- Cure & demould – let it cure, remove the holder from the mould and finish the edges.
- Finish – sand (grit 80/320/600) and apply the coating supplied.
Tip: cast in two or three smaller batches instead of one large one – that way you can often get 3 pieces out of one kit.

- 560 g powder (gypsum) & 280 g liquid (solvent-free resin)
- 5× pigment (white, black, yellow, red & blue)
- 4× washable mixing cups & 4× spatulas
- 4× waterproof sandpaper (80×2, 320×1, 600×1)
- 1× coating (10 g) for finishing
- 12× silicone feet
- 1× baking paper & 1× microfibre cloth
- 1× high-quality silicone mould (6.5 × 6.5 × 4 cm; Ø 6.5 cm)
