Plastique Culinair Fast is a very fast-curing, skin-friendly and food-friendly kneadable silicone.
Silicone Plastique Culinair Fast is a 2-component (poly-addition) kneadable silicone that cures at room temperature. It is very easy to mix and work by hand, and is ready for use after just 10 minutes.

Once cured, Silicone Plastique Culinair is resistant to temperatures from -40 °C to +280 °C and is suitable for making moulds for food.
Please note: never let the mould come into direct contact with the heating element.

Please note: pot life and demoulding time depend strongly on temperature! At higher temperatures, working time and demoulding time become shorter.
Processing
Silicone Plastique Culinair is easy to mix with (clean) hands. Knead components A and B together thoroughly in the specified ratio (1 part A to 1 part B by weight). Work the Plastique within the 1.4-minute working time and wait to demould until it has fully cured after 10 minutes. As your mould will come into contact with food, we recommend post-curing the mould briefly after it has cured: place the mould in an oven at 80 °C to 100 °C for 60 minutes so that any remaining vapours can escape. Then wash the mould thoroughly with washing-up liquid and dry it well. The mould is now ready for use.
Please note: this is an addition-cure silicone. Addition-cure silicones can be poisoned (inhibited) by sulphur, nitrogen, amine compounds and metal salts. If you are not sure whether the products you use (including gloves, spatulas and cups) contain these substances, carry out a small test first. These substances are found in, among other things, many latex gloves, some plasticines, lacquers and adhesives, condensation-cure silicones, one-component silicone sealants, natural rubbers and 3D printing materials (especially stereolithography). If you still want to use them, you will need to apply a protective layer of polyvinyl alcohol.
Shelf life
Provided the silicone is stored cool and frost-free in its (re)sealed packaging, the shelf life is at least 1 year.
Safety
Provided you have followed the instructions in the "Processing" section, the cured mixture meets the FDA requirements. If you work with the silicone frequently, we recommend wearing gloves during processing and ventilating the room well. For safety instructions, please refer to the safety data sheet.

What is the delivery time for my order?
