Premium Silicone-Free Release Agent for Professional Mold Making and Series Production Applications

ACHEM BL-3007S Release Spray is a silicone-free, wax-based release agent in a 500 ml aerosol can. The spray was specially developed for the production of cast parts and leaves a strongly adhering, abrasion-resistant release film, allowing multiple demoldings per application. The active material has a density of 0.76 g/cm³ at 20 °C. Once dry, the film can be polished with a soft cloth to a glossy surface.

Typical Applications

Applications that require silicone-free working, for example when the cast part is post-processed.

Instructions for Use

Allow the can to reach room temperature beforehand and ensure good ventilation.
Clean and dry the surface.
Spray a thin, even layer by hand over the entire surface. Do not skip any areas, as the casting material may adhere to untreated spots.
Allow the solvent to evaporate completely before casting.
Polish the film with a soft cloth if desired. An unpolished wax film can give the cast part a slightly matte finish.

Safety

ACHEM BL-3007S is an extremely flammable aerosol in a pressurized container. Do not spray onto open flames or other ignition sources, do not pierce or burn the can, even after use, and protect it from sunlight and temperatures above 50 °C. Store the can dry and well ventilated between 10 and 30 °C, the shelf life is at least 12 months. Consult the safety data sheet for complete information.
