The Silicone Condensation 20 Starter Kit is a complete, ready-to-use set based on a two-component tin-cure (polycondensation) casting silicone with a hardness of Shore A 23–26. The kit combines excellent flow properties (viscosity 24,000 ± 2,000 mPa·s) with a tensile strength of >3.92 N/mm² and an elongation at break of >400%, resulting in accurate, flexible and durable moulds. Ideal for soap, candle and concrete moulds – for beginners who want to get started straight away and for professionals looking for a reliable condensation-cure silicone.

Technical Characteristics

The Silicone Condensation 20 Starter Kit has a mix ratio of 100:5 (A:B by weight) and a working time of 30–40 minutes at room temperature. Full cure takes 960–1,200 minutes (16–20 hours); shrinkage remains below 0.3%. The viscosity of 24,000 ± 2,000 mPa·s ensures good flow into fine details without running off. With the addition of Thixo C (0.6–2%), the silicone is also suitable for spatula-applied moulds on vertical and sloping surfaces.
