Premium Hard Kneadable Silicone for Professional Mold Making and Industrial Prototyping Applications
Stensil ECO 70 is a 2-component platinum-addition kneadable silicone (Shore A 70) that cures at room temperature. The blue paste is easily mixed by hand in a 1:1 weight ratio and offers an efficient production cycle with a pot life of 1.5 minutes and a demolding time of 6 minutes. Its Shore A 70 hardness makes this variant highly suitable for robust production molds, industrial prototyping, technical reproduction, and applications where high dimensional stability is essential.

Processing Instructions:
- Take equal parts of A and B components by weight (1:1).
- Knead both components thoroughly with clean hands until a uniform blue color is achieved.
- Process the mixed paste within the 1.5-minute pot life.
- Press the silicone over or around the model and wait 6 minutes at 20°C.
- Demold once the silicone is fully cured and no longer feels sticky.
- Full strength is reached after 24 hours.
Addition-cure silicone warning: Stensil ECO is a platinum-addition silicone that can be poisoned by sulfur, nitrogen, amine compounds, and metal salts. These substances are found, among other things, in many latex gloves, some plastilines, paints, adhesives, condensation-cure silicones, 1-component silicone sealants, natural rubbers, and 3D printing materials (especially stereolithography/SLA). If in doubt, first test on a small area or apply a protective layer of polyvinyl alcohol.

According to Regulation (EC) 1272/2008, Stensil ECO 70 is not classified as a hazardous mixture. No GHS pictograms or H-phrases apply under normal use. The product falls under the EUH210 designation, meaning that the safety data sheet is available upon request. For frequent or professional use, nitrile (NBR) gloves are recommended, as is good ventilation of the workspace. Avoid contact with skin and eyes during prolonged use and wash hands after handling. The product is non-flammable.
