Sticky wax for assembling sprues and casting trees
Remet Sticktite 271 is a sticky wax for assembling sprues and vents onto wax patterns and casting trees. The wax gives the joined parts exceptionally high adhesive and cohesive strength. The softening point is 71 °C, the penetration at 25 °C is 18 dmm and the ash content a maximum of 0.03%.

Processing
- Melt the sticky wax and do not heat it above 140 °C.
- Apply the liquid wax to both ends you want to join.
- Press the parts together immediately and let the joint cool until it is hard.
Points to note

- ✓ Never heat the wax above 140 °C and do not hold it at high temperature for long periods. Otherwise the product will degrade thermally.
- ✓ Avoid skin contact with molten wax and do not breathe in the fumes.
- ✓ Store the wax dry, cool and sealed.
