Wacker Elastosil M 4600 A/B is a platinum-catalyzed RTV-2 silicone rubber which, according to Wacker's Regulatory Product Information, is suitable, provided appropriate processing, for the manufacture of materials and articles intended to come into contact with food. This professional silicone combines a very soft Shore A 20 hardness with extreme elongation (800%), good thermal stability (-40°C to +200°C) and minimal shrinkage (<0.1%), making it suitable for culinary molds, potting and sealing. Easy 10:1 mixing ratio with 90 minutes pot life.

Processing Instructions:
- Ensure both components are at room temperature (20-25°C)
- Mix Component A and B in a 10:1 ratio (by weight)
- Optional: place mixture in a vacuum chamber to remove air bubbles
- Pour within the 90-minute pot life
- Cure for approximately 12 hours at 23°C as stated in the technical data sheet, elevated temperature accelerates curing considerably
Storage: Store in original, sealed packaging in a cool, dry place. Shelf life: 12 months from production date.
