About this video
For the project in which Emiel builds a mechanical walking hand (Thing from Wednesday), he needs a realistic-looking hand that can hold the entire mechanism. But how do you make that? A tricky project with a surprisingly simple outcome.
For the mould he uses condensation-cure silicone with Thixo; the hand itself is made of addition-cure silicone with fast curing agent and skin-coloured silicone pigment.
