SAM Bodycasting Set: how it works

About this video

Using 3D-Gel and water, you can make a mould of one hand or several hands. After about 3 minutes the 3D-Gel has set sufficiently and you can fill the mould with 3D-Plaster. Mix the plaster powder with cold water and fill the mould carefully. After another 30 minutes the plaster has hardened and you can remove the 3D-Gel. Finally, check the cast with a toothpick and remove any remaining 3D-Gel and small irregularities. And there you have it: a beautiful, highly detailed cast of a hand.

Little innocent baby hands, the somewhat rebellious hand of a teenager, two hands in love just after saying 'I do', or hands with a lifetime of experience: every detail of your loved ones is captured in a three-dimensional copy.
