According to the CHT safety data sheet, component B of ALPA-GEL 97166 is classified as harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects (H412). No signal word and no hazard pictogram apply to this classification. Component B contains a small amount of octamethylcyclotetrasiloxane (D4), a substance on the REACH Candidate List, and can generate flammable hydrogen gas under certain conditions. Work in a well-ventilated room and wear nitrile gloves and eye protection. Avoid release to the environment: do not let residues or rinse water enter drains or soil, and dispose of contents and packaging via a licensed waste disposal company.
