ELASTOSIL® RT 607 A/B - Flame Retardant RTV-2 Silicone Rubber

ELASTOSIL® RT 607 A/B is a castable, addition-curing, two-component silicone rubber (RTV-2) that vulcanizes at room temperature. This high-performance platinum catalyst silicone was specifically developed for professional applications in the railway, electronics, and hydroelectric power industries.

Processing

Note: Only components A and B with the same batch number may be mixed. Mix the two components thoroughly at a 9:1 weight ratio. For optimal results, vacuum encapsulation is recommended to eliminate air pockets.

Reactivity can be adjusted with Catalyst EP (increases reactivity) or Inhibitor PT 88 (extends pot life). Detailed processing instructions are available in the WACKER technical documentation.

Orders placed and paid for on weekdays before 4:00 PM are usually shipped the same day. Orders placed after 4:00 PM or on weekends are processed the next business day.
