Silica-reinforced vinyl PDMS as a base for strong addition silicones
Filled Vinyl PDMS 1,300,000 cSt is a vinyl-functional compound of polydimethylsiloxanes that are already filled and reinforced with silica. It is a ready-made raw material for addition-cure RTV-2 silicones with higher elongation. Because the filler is already included, you do not need to disperse silica into your formulation yourself. The compound is a translucent, colourless paste with a viscosity of 1,300,000 mPa·s, a density of 1.13 g/cm³ and a vinyl content of 0.067 mmol/g. Compared with the 300,000 cSt version, the polymer chains are shorter and the filler content is higher.

Processing
