This silicone deadener makes your platinum curing silicone softer, more flexible, more stretchable and above all less like elastic and more like skin tissue.
This deadener actively contributes to the polymer network and thus will not migrate to the surface.

Processing
Silicone deadener only works on platinum curing silicone / addition curing silicone.
The deadener may be added to the A component or B component or to both or to the mixture.
The precise amount fo deadener to use depends heavily on the silicone you use and the desired result. Please do a small tst to determine the required amount of deadener for your project.
It is easiest to add the deadener to the A component. We advise to test with small steps beginning with 10% of the A and B component. E.G. 100 gramm A + 100 gramm with 20 gramm of deadener added to the A component.
If you would like to get a silicone gel you might need additions of deadener up to 200%.
Please note
Silicone with silicone deadener may become like gel or become very sticky / tacky. Therefore silicone like this is often used in a flexible (silicone) hull or covered in talcum powder.
Shelf life
At least 2 years when stored at room temperature and in a carefully closed container.
Safety
No special security measures are required for this material. However we strongly advise to always work carefully with all chemicals. Wear protective gloves and glasses. Working in a well ventilated area. Do not eat or drink during processing and wash your hands after use.

What is the delivery time for my order?
Orders placed and paid on working days are in most cases shipped the same day. Weekend orders are processed on the next working day.
Indicative delivery times: Netherlands usually within 1 working day, Belgium and Germany typically 1–2 working days, other countries depending on destination and carrier. These are guidelines, not guarantees: peak periods, public holidays or carrier delays can have an effect.
What is the return policy?
You have 30 days to return after receipt. Email info@siliconesandmore.com within 30 days of delivery with your name and order number. The full conditions are in our return policy.
How can I track my order?
As soon as your order has shipped, you'll receive a track & trace code by email. It can take up to 24 hours before the code is active.

Can I order as a business?
Yes. Apply for a business account; we review your application within 3 working days. After that you order while logged in and pay on invoice, with payment terms of 14 days after delivery.
EU businesses outside the Netherlands with a valid VAT number order with VAT reverse-charged (0%, intra-community supply). The VAT number is stored in your business account; it cannot be added to an order after it has been placed.
