Momentive: silicone technology for industry and production
Momentive Performance Materials is an international manufacturer of silicones and silicone based materials. The company grew out of the silicone business of General Electric, with roots going back to the 1940s. Well known brand names include Silopren for liquid silicone rubber (LSR) and coatings.

Silopren LSR Topcoat HE
Momentive Silopren LSR Topcoat HE is a coating for silicone rubber. You apply it to a cured part made of LSR, HTV or RTV silicone. The surface becomes matte, feels dry and is less tacky, and the coating increases wear resistance.
- Matting effect, also on glossy silicones
- Less friction and a less tacky surface, useful for parts that slide against each other or attract dust
- Suitable for LSR, HTV and RTV silicones
- Applicable to seals, keypads, grips and technical rubber parts, for example

Tips for a good result
- Make sure the silicone part is fully cured and free of release agent and grease
- Test the coating first on a sample of the same material
- Follow the drying and curing times in the technical data sheet
