Premium Coconut Apricot Candle Wax for Creamy Container Candles with Strong Scent Throw
Calwax Ceda Serica Coconut Apricot Blend is, according to Calwax, the original coconut-apricot wax blend: a complex candle wax based on renewable coconut wax and apricot oil, developed for candles in jars and containers. The wax gives a creamy, off-white appearance and a smooth, glossy surface after a single pour, without needing to finish the top with a heat gun. Ceda Serica takes up to 10 % fragrance oil with a strong cold and hot scent throw, burns evenly and has excellent glass adhesion. The texture is soft and creamy, with a typical congealing point of approx. 54 °C. According to Calwax, the blend is free from gluten, parabens and phthalates.

Processing instructions:
- Melt the wax slowly and evenly to 88 to 93 °C. Never heat over an open flame and use a thermometer.
- Add the fragrance oil at approx. 85 °C (maximum 10 %) and stir well for good binding.
- Add a candle wax dye if required.
- Let the wax cool to the pouring temperature of 79 to 82 °C. At this temperature you get the best adhesion to the glass and a smooth surface.
- Pour the wax into the containers and let it cool undisturbed.
Please note
- Melted wax is hot: contact with hot wax can cause burns. Cool skin with melted wax on it immediately with water.
- Do not heat the wax more than necessary: vapours given off when heated may irritate the respiratory tract. Ensure good ventilation.
- Never leave melted wax or burning candles unattended.
- Not suitable for consumption.
- Store the wax closed, cool and dry, preferably below 20 °C.

According to the Calwax safety data sheet, Ceda Serica Coconut Apricot Blend is not classified as hazardous and is not dangerous goods for transport. The main risk is heat: contact with melted wax can cause burns, and vapours released when heated may irritate the respiratory tract. Work in a well-ventilated room and do not heat the wax more than necessary. When working with hot wax, wear heat-resistant gloves, long sleeves and safety glasses. Cool skin that comes into contact with melted wax immediately with cold water and have adhering wax removed by a doctor. Let spilled wax solidify and scrape it up; spilled product makes floors slippery.
