Solvent-based cleaner for composite moulds

Chemlease Mold Cleaner EZ by Chem-Trend is a special blend of solvents that dissolves and removes wax and dirt from composite moulds. According to Chem-Trend, the cleaner dissolves waxes and polishes without removing the semi-permanent release layer. This prepares the mould surface for a Chemlease sealer or release agent. You can also use it to clean brushes and equipment. Available in 800 grams and 3.8 kg.

Application

Apply the cleaner with a clean 100 % cotton cloth.
While the surface is still wet, immediately wipe the mould dry vigorously with a second clean, dry cotton cloth.
Replace saturated cloths regularly with new, clean ones.
Repeat until all residue (dirt, dust, grease, moisture) has been removed. Clean at least twice.

Points to note

✓ Highly flammable. Keep the cleaner away from heat, sparks and open flames and ground containers and equipment.
✓ Work outdoors or in a well-ventilated area and wear gloves, eye protection and respiratory protection if needed.
✓ Store the cleaner between 10 and 35 °C in a tightly closed container to prevent evaporation and contamination. If it has been stored cold, let it reach room temperature before use.
