Reusable, sulphur-free modelling clay for sculpting and special effects
Monster Clay® Premium Grade green is a reusable, sulphur-free, oil-based modelling clay from The Monster Makers. The clay does not dry out, does not stick to skin or tools and has high elasticity, so you can also create unusual shapes. Monster Clay melts at 57.2 °C, so you can also melt and cast it. Up to 46 °C it remains comfortably kneadable. You can choose from Soft, Medium and Hard, in a 2.05 kg (4.5 lbs) oven-safe container.

Processing
- Warm the clay slightly to soften it, preferably in a bain-marie or in the oven. Up to 46 °C it remains comfortably kneadable.
- Model with your hands or with tools.
- Refine details by warming areas locally, for example with a hair dryer or heat lamp. At room temperature the original hardness returns.
- For a smooth finish, use alcohol, citrus solvent or turpentine.
- To cast, melt the clay (melting temperature 57.2 °C) and pour it into a mould of silicone, alginate or polyurethane.
- Let the clay cool and reuse it as often as needed.
Points to note
- ✓ Do not use a microwave. The clay melts from the inside, so you do not see the molten clay straight away. This can cause serious burns and a fire hazard.
- ✓ Never melt the clay in a pan on a direct heat source such as a gas hob, open fire or induction hob. Use a bain-marie or the oven.
- ✓ Do not place the container directly on an oven rack or baking tray, but for example on a silicone baking mat. The container is oven-safe up to 120 °C.
- ✓ Not suitable for consumption. Keep the clay out of the reach of children and wash your hands with soap and water after use.
- ✓ Store the clay in a closed container in a cool, dry, frost-free place. It then keeps for at least 5 years.

Safety Information
Take care when working with heated or molten clay. Molten clay is hot: avoid skin contact with the liquid clay, never heat it in a microwave or on a direct heat source and work in a well-ventilated area. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after use and keep the clay out of the reach of children. What is the delivery time for my order?
Orders placed and paid on working days are in most cases shipped the same day. Weekend orders are processed on the next working day.
