Premium Fast-Setting Ultra-Soft Silicone Rubber for Professional Applications
PlatSil FS-00 is the softest grade in the fast-setting FS series from Polytek Development Corp., with a hardness of Shore OO52/A5. This platinum-cure 1A:1B system combines a long working time of 8 minutes with a short demoulding time of 30 minutes – ideal for applications that call for both extreme softness and fast turnaround, such as non-skin SFX, robotics and soft prototypes.

- Ultra-soft: Shore OO52/A5 – the softest in the FS series, for highly realistic tissue simulation and flexible moulds.
- Fast-setting formula: 30-minute demoulding time at room temperature, which can be shortened further with Part X Accelerator or heat (max. 60°C).
- High elongation: 1,300% elongation at break for exceptionally flexible moulds that release complex geometries without tearing.
- Zero shrinkage: the platinum catalyst ensures dimensionally stable results without shrinkage or degradation over time.
- Excellent release properties: no release agent is needed in most applications, saving time and cost.
- Suitable for brushing: can be thickened with PlatThix for brush-on blanket moulds; maximum interval between layers 15 minutes.

Tensile strength: 400 psi. Tear strength (Die B): 120 pli. Cured colour: milky translucent. Specific gravity: 1.1. Store at 15–32°C in the unopened original packaging; use the product within six months.

According to Polytek's EU safety data sheet, component A is classified as harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects (H412). No signal word or hazard pictogram applies. Component B is not classified as hazardous. Avoid release to the environment (P273) and dispose of residues and packaging via an approved waste disposal company (P501). Wear nitrile or butyl rubber gloves and safety glasses while working, and work in a well-ventilated area. What is the delivery time for my order?
