PlatThix Liquid Thickener is een platina-compatibel vloeibaar verdikkingsmiddel van Polytek Development Corp., speciaal ontwikkeld voor gebruik met de PlatSil® 71- en 73-serie siliconen rubbers. Door toevoeging van PlatThix wordt de viscositeit van het vloeibare rubber verhoogd, waardoor brush-on blanket molds en verticale toepassingen eenvoudig uitvoerbaar zijn zonder doorlopen.

Verhoogde viscositeit: Tot 5% toevoeging (op gewicht) verdikt het rubber aanzienlijk voor brush-on toepassingen.
Geen invloed op uitharding: Platina-compatibel; beïnvloedt de uithardingsreactie niet negatief.

Technische Kenmerken

Toevoegen aan het gemengde rubber (Parts A+B) of aan Part B vóór menging. Maximale dosering: 5% van het totale gemengde gewicht. Hogere doseringen kunnen de uitharding negatief beïnvloeden. Alternatief: Fumed Silica kan ook als verdikkingsmiddel worden gebruikt. Altijd eerst op kleine schaal testen.

Orders placed and paid for on business days will be shipped on the same day in most cases. Orders received on weekends will be processed on the next business day.
