This Silicone Glue Set is ideal for bonding cured silicone to a wide range of substrates and, of course, to silicone.
Use this set whenever you want to bond cured silicone (condensation-cure and addition-cure) to a substrate or to other cured silicone. The set consists of a very low-viscosity primer and an adhesive.
Application
Make sure all surfaces to be bonded are free of dust and grease. Preferably use thinner for this and allow it to evaporate fully after cleaning. Do not use petroleum spirit (benzine).
Apply the primer to the silicone to be bonded, NOT to the substrate (unless the substrate is also silicone).
Allow the primer to act on the grease-free, dust-free silicone for 1 minute, then apply the adhesive and fix the silicone to the substrate. Apply the adhesive within 30 minutes of the primer!
Depending on the substrate and temperature, the bond is formed within a few seconds to 15 minutes.
Full bond strength is reached after 15 minutes to 2 hours.

Packaging
This set is supplied with a 100 ml bottle of primer with brush and a 50 g bottle of adhesive.
Shelf life
Always close immediately after use. Shelf life of at least 6 months, provided it is stored between 5 and 10°C and out of direct sunlight. Exceeding the shelf life usually does not mean that the product no longer works.
