Premium RTV-1 Silicone Adhesive for Professional Industrial and Electronic Applications

Wacker ELASTOSIL® E43 N Black is a high-quality 1-component, neutral-cure RTV-1 silicone adhesive and sealant without solvents, in black for applications requiring color matching or UV absorption. Like the E43 N Transparent, this variant does not inhibit the curing of platinum-cure (addition) silicones. It combines excellent adhesion to various substrates, UV resistance, heat resistance, and long-term elasticity. Available in 310 ml cartridge.

Processing instructions:

Sand the surface, remove dust and contaminants
Degrease with thinner or alcohol and allow to evaporate completely
Apply E43 N Black and distribute evenly – the product self-levels
Allow 15 minutes for surface drying; full strength after 24 hours
Always perform a small test on the specific substrate first

Safety information: During curing, approx. 4% by weight of acetic acid is split off. Work only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid contact with mucous membranes and eyes. In case of eye contact: rinse immediately with water. Consult the safety data sheet for full information.

The product is not classified as hazardous according to EU regulations, but contains <5% methyltriacetoxysilane, a substance that forms acetic acid upon contact with moisture. Therefore, avoid prolonged exposure to vapours and prevent contact with bases, alcohols, and water during storage.
