Premium Spatula-Applicable SFX Silicones for Professional Applications

SAM Silicone Wound is a two-component platinum-cure silicone with a 1:1 mixing ratio (by weight), specifically developed for sculpting realistic wounds and skin effects. With a Shore A hardness of 5 and an elongation of 300–400%, the material seamlessly follows the skin – without detaching, without tearing.

Processing

This silicone can be easily mixed by hand. Carefully mix components A and B in the specified ratio (100 parts A and 100 parts B by weight). Apply the mixture and sculpt into the desired shape within the pot life. Wait for the mixture to cure sufficiently before further processing.

You can optionally accelerate the curing process by heating the mixture. Roughly, every 10 degrees halves the time.

Acceleration can also be achieved by using SAM Accelerator Platinum.

You can also slow down the processing time by cooling the silicone thoroughly before mixing or by using SAM Retarder Platinum.

This Silicone can be mixed with SAM Deadener 1000 to achieve even softer results.

Note: Pot life/demoulding time is highly dependent on temperature! At higher temperatures, the processing time and curing time will be shorter.

Due to the short pot life, we recommend pre-coloring components A and B to the desired shade.
