Zhermack SFX 00-20 – Ultra-flexible silicone for realistic applications

Discover Zhermack SFX 00-20, a colorless, biocompatible silicone rubber with exceptional stretchability and softness. This high-quality 2-component platinum-cured addition silicone is specially developed for applications where realistic skin textures, extreme flexibility and fine detail reproduction are essential – such as masks, robotics, animatronics, dolls and special effects.

Processing

Zhermack SFX 00-20 is mixed in a 1:1 weight ratio (A:B). After mixing, the silicone is fluid and easy to process by hand or machine. It cures at room temperature, but the process can be accelerated in an oven. Note: air bubbles will have less time to escape when heated.

For a gel-like consistency, this product can be combined with a Deadner.

Important Usage Notes

The platinum catalyst is located in component B. Avoid contact with materials that may inhibit platinum-cured silicones, such as latex, certain plastilines, glues, paints and 3D printing materials (especially SLA). If unsure, test on a small scale or apply a protective PVA layer.
