Guide: Create Your Own Dildo Set
With the Create Your Own Dildo Set you make a fully personalised silicone toy yourself. You choose the shape, the size and the colour. The set contains skin friendly platinum silicone and alginate moulding material, the same technology used in SFX and medical simulation. This guide takes you step by step from model to finished result.
What is in the set?
- 500 grams Alginate 3D gel, for the moulding impression
- 550 grams Silicone Addition Transparent 15 Fast, platinum cure, skin friendly and flexible
- 500 grams Plasticine modelling clay, for shaping the model
- Mixing cup 1900 ml, for the alginate mould
- Mixing cup 550 ml, for the silicone
- 50 grams silicone colourant, colour of your choice
- Apron and mixing spatula
Step by step
- Shape the model. Knead your desired shape from the plasticine. Make sure the model tapers slightly, so that you can later remove it from the alginate mould easily without tearing anything.
- Mix the alginate. Mix the alginate 3D gel in the 1900 ml mixing cup. Use a ratio of one part alginate to three parts water and consult the alginate data sheet. Scale the amount to the size of your model, as long as the model can be fully submerged.
- Submerge the model. Place the plasticine model in the alginate gel and press it fully under.
- Remove the mould. Let the alginate cure and then carefully remove the model. Gently move the model back and forth to let air in, otherwise the mould will tear.
- Colour the silicone. Add silicone colourant until you have the desired colour. Do this separately in the A component and in the B component and make sure both contain an equal amount of colourant. Use no more than two percent of the combined weight of both components.
- Mix the silicone. Mix the A component and the B component of the Silicone Addition Transparent 15 Fast thoroughly together.
- Cast. Pour the mixed silicone into the alginate mould.
- Remove. Let the silicone cure for about half an hour at room temperature and then remove the finished product from the mould.
- Degas. Bake the finished product once for two to three hours in the oven at one hundred degrees Celsius to degas it. Let the shape cool down completely afterwards.
Important points of attention
⚠️ We advise always using a condom during use, for hygiene and your safety.
⚠️ Degassing in the oven is essential before the toy is used for skin contact. Always let the shape cool down completely before handling it.
- Work on a clean and grease free surface, residue on the model or in the mould will show up in the finished result
- Mix the A and B component in equal ratio and stir thoroughly, otherwise the silicone will not cure fully
- Wear the supplied apron and work in a well ventilated area
Making a larger result?
If you want a larger size, use a bigger cup or a cut open bottle as the mould and scale up the amount of alginate and silicone accordingly. The ratios stay the same.
