Instructions for use:

For optimal integration into an oil-in-water (O/W) emulsion, it is recommended to emulsify BRB 1840 at high speed, at a temperature below 50°C to avoid evaporation of cyclopentasiloxane.

Safety recommendations:

• BRB 1840 is classified as non-hazardous according to European regulations.
• It contains substances that are on the list of substances of very high concern, namely Dodecamethylcyclohexasiloxane and Decamethylcyclopentasiloxane, in a concentration of >= 0.1 - < 3%.
• It is recommended to consult the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) before using the product.

ATTENTION: Due to new EU legislation and in order to formulate in a future-proof way, we recommend replacing all cyclic silicones with other alternatives such as linear silicones. For this product, BRB 1740 could for example be an alternative. This is a linear silicone with dimethiconol. Unfortunately, small differences in the final result cannot be avoided. We therefore recommend starting reformulations early so that you can continue to produce a product that is as similar as possible. We are happy to support you!
