Green sculpture wax for brushing, slush casting and backup
SculptaCast Earth, also sold by us as Casting Wax Art Green, is a green sculpture wax for the lost-wax process. You can brush and slush the wax, and it has enough body to serve as a backup wax: one wax for the whole pattern. The formulation reduces bulging and lifting from the mould wall without the need to paint edges. The wax is based on petroleum and natural raw materials, has a melting point of 57.8 °C, contains no filler and leaves a maximum of 0.006% ash.

Processing
- Melt the wax carefully and do not heat it above 100 °C.
- Brush the first layer into the mould for the detail.
- Build up the wall thickness by slushing, or use the same wax as backup.
- Let the wax cool and demould the pattern.
Points to note
- ✓ Do not heat the wax above 100 °C and do not keep it at high temperature for long. Otherwise the product degrades thermally.
- ✓ Avoid skin contact with molten wax and do not inhale the fumes.
