Choosing between Normal and Fast – Important!
You can choose between two different curing speeds:

Catalyst B Normal: 6-hour curing time - Ideal when you need more processing time

Catalyst B Fast: 15-minute cure time - Perfect for fast projects and production
You can also mix both catalysts to achieve an intermediate curing time. See the chart in the information sheet for the correct mixing ratios.

About the system
Wacker Elastosil Vario Transparent silicone is a two-component (platinum) poly-addition casting silicone that cures at room temperature. The silicone is highly fluid, and the resulting sealant offers very high tensile strength.
These silicones are very versatile, food-safe, and skin-friendly. They are also excellent for making stamps (for the tampon industry), prosthetics, and podiatry.
These silicone molds are especially popular for prototyping. Because the original mold is relatively visible in the silicone mold, it's easy to cut out.
The transparent silicone is suitable for molds where it's important that the cast object remains visible. This allows you to cut a mold very precisely and in the right place.
Packaging
This product contains ONLY the B component (catalyst). The A component must be purchased separately.
Available packaging B-component: 50 gr, 100 gr, 500 gr, 1 kg and 2 kg.

Shelf life
Provided the catalyst is stored in a closed container between 5°C and 25°C, the shelf life is at least 1 year.
Safety requirements
If you work frequently with silicone, it is recommended that you wear gloves and ventilate the area well during application. For safety instructions, consult the safety data sheet.
