Adding this filler, based on aluminium trihydrate, to your polyurethane gives a harder end result, higher stiffness and a more economical PU mix.
With the polyurethane filler, the maximum casting thickness of the Polyurethane Casting System D80 Set increases to 80 mm instead of 30 mm.
Added to a polyurethane casting system, the polyurethane filler increases the stiffness of the polyurethane (with casting system D80, for example, from Shore A 70 to a maximum of 85).
Adding the polyurethane filler extends the working time from 5 to 10 minutes and the demoulding time from 50 to 180 minutes. A small amount of filler makes the PU stronger. Too much filler, however, makes the polyurethane more brittle (but also harder).
This filler is self-extinguishing and partly passes this property on to the polyurethane it is mixed into.
