Mineral vacuum pump oil for Eurovacuum EVD and EVR pumps
Eurovacuum EV-Highvacuum Oil-60 is the standard oil for the two-stage EVD and the Roots EVR vacuum pumps from Eurovacuum. It is a mineral oil, refined from crude oil and blended for most vacuum applications. You use it in processes involving air, inert gases, noble gases and water vapour. The oil has a viscosity of 100 mm²/s at 40 °C, a very low vapour pressure of 5×10⁻⁹ torr at 20 °C and a flash point above 230 °C.
Key benefits
- Standard oil: for Eurovacuum EVD and EVR vacuum pumps.
- Low vapour pressure: 5×10⁻⁹ torr at 20 °C, for a deep vacuum.
- High flash point: above 230 °C (C.o.C.).
- Versatile: for air, inert gases, noble gases and water vapour.
Typical applications
- ✓ Vacuum pumps for degassing silicones, casting resins and epoxies
- ✓ Two-stage rotary vane pumps (EVD series)
- ✓ Roots pumps (EVR series)
Application
- Check the oil level of your pump in the sight glass.
- Top up or change the oil to the indicated level according to your vacuum pump's manual.
- Follow your vacuum pump's manual for the oil change intervals.
Points to note
