ELASTOSIL® N2010 is a ready-to-use, neutral (alkoxy) RTV-1 silicone rubber from Wacker Chemie AG. Technical Characteristics

ELASTOSIL® N2010 is a 1-component RTV silicone rubber (condensation cure, alkoxy) with a Shore A hardness of 25 after curing. The viscosity is approximately 10,000 mPa·s (D=0.5 1/s), with a skin formation time of about 20 minutes at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity. Tensile strength: 1 N/mm²; elongation: 200%. Cured density: 1.01 g/cm³. Curing occurs through moisture from the air; full curing depends on layer thickness and ambient conditions.

Safety Information

The product is not classified as hazardous but releases small amounts of methanol during curing. These vapors should not be inhaled for prolonged periods and require good ventilation. Avoid contact with moisture during storage and keep the product away from heat, sparks, and open flames due to its flammable nature.
