    ELASTOSIL® FX platinum-cured silicone rubbers are used to create realistic skin effects for film, television and theatre, for example.
    Use the range of base rubbers, gels and additives to achieve stunning results for, for example: FX makeup / lifecasting, masks, body parts/prosthetic effects, wounds and scars.

    The material with a higher shore hardness, ELASTOSIL® FX 28, is primarily suitable for:

    • Body parts
    • Decoration prototypes
    • Production molds

    Available additives
    The ELASTOSIL® FX rubbers can be combined with the following additives:
    • FX Slow – extends working time
    • FX Fast – shortens working time
    • FX Thixo A (formerly FX Thixo) – makes the material thixotropic (non-flowable)

    Shelf life
    ELASTOSIL® FX20 A/B should be stored between 5°C and 30°C in the tightly closed original packaging. The shelf life of each batch is stated on the product label. Storage beyond the date stated on the label does not necessarily mean that the product is no longer usable. In this case, however, the properties required for the intended use must be checked for quality assurance reasons.

    Safety information
    Components A and B of the addition-curing class ELASTOSIL® FX20 A/B contain only ingredients that have proven non-toxic or aggressive for many years. Special precautions during handling are therefore not required, i.e., only the general regulations for industrial hygiene apply.     Orders placed and paid for on business days will be shipped on the same day in most cases. Orders received on weekends will be processed on the next business day.
