Premium RTV-1 Silicone Paste for Professional FIPG and Industrial Sealing Applications

Wacker ELASTOSIL® E4 is a high-quality 1-component, acetoxy-curing (RTV-1) silicone paste with low Shore A hardness, specially developed for formed-in-place gaskets (FIPG), cast-in-place gaskets, and professional bonding on glass and technical substrates. This professional product combines excellent primerless adhesion to glass, metal, and ceramics with permanent heat resistance up to 180°C (peak 200°C) and immediate ready-to-use application without mixing. Please note: E4 is a paste and not self-leveling – for self-flowing applications, please see ELASTOSIL® E41.

Processing Instructions:

Clean, degrease, and allow the substrate to evaporate
Apply E4 as a paste – the product is not self-leveling, so apply precisely
Curing starts upon contact with atmospheric humidity; higher humidity accelerates the process
Always perform a small test on the specific substrate first

The product is not classified as hazardous according to EU regulations, but contains <5% methyltriacetoxysilane, a substance that forms acetic acid upon contact with moisture. Therefore, avoid prolonged exposure to vapours and prevent contact with bases, alcohols, and water during storage.

What is the delivery time of my order?

Orders placed and paid for on business days will be shipped on the same day in most cases. Orders received on weekends will be processed on the next business day.
